Many of you have seen the television show "Doomsday Preppers" on National Geographic. Whether you believe that a natural or man-made disaster is on the horizon is irrelevant. The fact is. THE AMERICAN PUBLIC IS PREPPING! This website can not convince you to "prep". I can only lay the facts out before

you and allow you to come to your own conclusion.

"Pick a disaster,... any disaster". Does it really matter which natural or man-made disaster strikes first? You are probably saying to yourself "but my State doesnt have volcanoes". Your State has "air" right? The ash from one side of the planet can easily drift to the other side of the planet. You may be saying to yourself, "I live in a small town, what terrorist organization would want to bomb our local hardware store? You're right again, their target would most likely be a national monument like the Statue of Liberty or a landmark like The Golden Gate Bridge. But once those cities are evacuated, where do you think that former cities inhabitants are gonna go? You dont think thounsands of people wouldnt be searching for a nice small town to settle into? Can your town sustain 1,000...10,000... 1000,000 more people? My city cant take another 1000,000 people, and I live in a major metropolitan area.

 

My point (if I ever actually get around to making it) is that ANYTHING can happen, and I want you to be prepared.

3 DAYS TO CHAOS...

 

 

A PERSONAL NOTE: WHY I PREP 

 

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, it only took three (3) days for New Orleans  to breakdown into chaos and misery.

 

The media reported the looting in the streets, and a few media outlets reported the beatings and rapes in the Superdome. As horrific as those events were, I am convinced we will never know the true scale of terror and human suffering that occured before, during and after Hurricane Katrina.

 

 

This disaster did not happen on some distant shore. These pictures were not taken in the Sudan or Haiti. This happened in New Orleans... THE UNITED STATES

OF AMERICA!

 

 

The US Government was completely ill prepared to handle a disaster of this magnitude.  Thousands of people poured into the Supersome and Convention Center with no drinking water or food. Thousands more were stranded on the streets.

 

Many people died from dehydration and starvation at the Superdome

 

"Refugees" thought they had found "shelter", a "place of lrefuge"...and all they found was thirst, hunger, terror and death.

 

 

The manner in which this natural disaster was handled by FEMA was ridiculous, and it should NEVER be allowed to happen again.
